If you’re leading Bible Time at True North VBS 2025, you already know it’s more than telling stories—it’s about helping kids discover that Jesus is our True North. But how do we make these truths stick in a kid’s heart without overwhelming volunteers?
Here’s a simplified, super-engaging teaching strategy for every day of Bible Time that’s rooted in the curriculum but easy to adapt, remember, and teach.

Every day is built around one big truth:
“No matter what we face, we can trust Jesus.”
Reinforce this with a large compass visual on your teaching wall, always pointing toward Jesus at the center.

Each day follows a clear, repeatable rhythm:
- Start with a Compass Chant “North, south, east, west—Jesus helps us pass the test!”
- Act Out the Bible Story
Let kids use props, hand motions, or sound effects. Example: splashing water for baptism or roaring wind at Pentecost. - Teach the Bible Point with a Buddy
Hold up the Buddy and ask, “What do we do when we feel [confused/lonely/etc.]?”
Kids shout: “Trust Jesus!” - Sticky Scripture with Movement
Pair each verse with simple motions:- 📖 “Anyone who listens…” → cup hand to ear
- 🙌 “Come to me…” → arms wide
